Process
The
1. Say Hello
You found us! Now we want to get to know you. Tell us about your plans, your people, what you're dreaming up, and what matters most to you. We'll check your date, answer your questions, and send over a personalized proposal created with your day in mind.
Your photographers are going to be with you through some pretty big moments, so finding the right fit matters. We'll hop on a call, get to know each other, talk through your vision, and make sure our personalities and approach feel like the right fit for you.
No pressure. No sales pitch. Just a good conversation.
2. Vibe Check
3. Make it Official!
Once you've decided we're your people, we'll make it official! You'll receive your contract, pay your retainer, and officially have The Shutter Owl in your corner. From here on out, we're not just your photographers—we're part of your wedding team.
4. Let's Get Comfortable
Consider this your practice round—but way more fun. We'll spend some time getting to know each other and guide you through natural posing and playful prompts so you can see just how easy it can be in front of the camera.
By the time your wedding day arrives, you'll know exactly what to expect, what feels natural, and that you can trust us to make you look and feel amazing.
5. Let's make a plan
Before the wedding, I (Christina) will help you build a photography timeline that gives you plenty of room to breathe while making sure we don't miss the moments that matter. We'll talk through locations, family photos, portraits, details, and all the little things that will make your photography experience feel effortless.
